Len Carella started working in ceramics in 1998 taking classes at Parsons School of Design in New York City midway through a 20 year career as a designer of footwear and leather goods.
He currently works full-time from his San Francisco studio creating one-of-a-kind & site specific installation art & sculpture in stoneware, porcelain, leather, glass, cork and textile and small batch functional ware in stoneware & porcelain for home and restaurant use.
