Wine – Back Grin 2021, Fabio Gea

$52.00
Fabio Gea’s Back Grin is made from Grignolino, a native grape of Langhe, Piedmont. Gea is known for his experimental winemaking methods, using unconventional vessels like porcelain and stoneware for fermentation. The Grignolino grapes are hand-harvested from biodynamically treated vineyards. Fermentation occurs spontaneously, with a 2-3 week maceration, and the wine is aged for about a year in the same vessels. This minimal-intervention approach ensures a pure expression of the terroir.
Light yet expressive, offering flavors of red berries, especially strawberry and cherry, with a touch of spice. Its lively acidity and soft tannins make it refreshing and elegant. Organic
